🍰 Crunchy Pecan Cookies

Ingredients
- 90 g Butter
- 150 g cane sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 175 g spelt flour
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 50 g pecans
- 50 g chocolate chips (dark)
Instructions
- 1. Beat the soft butter with brown sugar, vanilla sugar, and the egg until creamy.
- 2. Mix spelt flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- 3. Add the flour mixture, pecans, and chocolate chips to the butter mixture.
- 4. Knead everything together into a uniform dough.
- 5. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 6. Place small mounds of dough onto the paper using two teaspoons.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection: 160 °C, gas: setting 2–3).
- 8. Bake the cookies in the oven for approx. 15 minutes.
- 9. Remove the cookies from the oven.
- 10. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
