Ingredients
- 300 g sweet potatoes
- 300 g parsnips
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Peel the sweet potatoes and parsnips.
- 3. Rinse the vegetables under running water.
- 4. Slice the vegetables lengthwise into paper-thin strips using a vegetable peeler.
- 5. Pat the vegetable strips dry with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 7. Put the tray into the preheated oven.
- 8. Let the chips dry for 3 to 4 hours.
- 9. Keep the oven door slightly ajar during this time.
- 10. Turn the vegetable strips occasionally to ensure even drying.
- 11. Season the finished chips with salt.
- 12. Serve the chips immediately.
