🍝 Pasta salad with sausage, cherry tomatoes and olives

Ingredients
- 400 g elbow macaroni
- salt
- 2 yellow bell peppers
- 200 g cocktail tomatoes
- 200 g salami
- 1 clove of garlic
- 4 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp freshly chopped oregano
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch sugar
- pepper (from the mill)
- 50 g black olives (pitted)
- basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Boil water in a large pot with salt.
- 2. Add the pasta to the boiling water.
- 3. Cook the pasta al dente (firm to the bite).
- 4. Drain the pasta.
- 5. Rinse the pasta briefly with cold water.
- 6. Let the pasta drain well.
- 7. Wash the bell peppers.
- 8. Halve the bell peppers.
- 9. Remove the seeds and white pith.
- 10. Dice the bell peppers into small cubes.
- 11. Wash the cherry tomatoes.
- 12. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
- 13. Slice the salami into thin slices.
- 14. Peel the garlic.
- 15. Finely chop the garlic.
- 16. Mix the garlic with balsamic vinegar.
- 17. Add oregano to the dressing.
- 18. Add olive oil to the dressing.
- 19. Season the dressing with sugar.
- 20. Season the dressing with salt.
- 21. Season the dressing with pepper.
- 22. Add the drained pasta to a large bowl.
- 23. Add the diced pepper to the bowl.
- 24. Add the halved tomatoes to the bowl.
- 25. Add the salami slices to the bowl.
- 26. Add the olives to the bowl.
- 27. Pour the dressing over the ingredients.
- 28. Mix everything well.
- 29. Garnish the salad with fresh basil.
- 30. Serve the salad.
