🍝 Colorful Pasta Salad with Salami and Cheese

Ingredients
- 400 g pasta (e.g. fusilli)
- salt
- 2 bell peppers (green and red)
- 1 cucumber
- 50 g black olives (pitted)
- 100 g hard cheese (e.g. Gouda)
- 60 g salami
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- pepper (from the mill)
- grated Parmesan (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- 1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- 2. Cook the pasta in it until al dente (firm to the bite).
- 3. Drain the pasta in a colander.
- 4. Rinse the pasta briefly with cold water to cool it down.
- 5. Let the pasta cool completely.
- 6. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 7. Remove the core and seeds from the peppers.
- 8. Cut the peppers into thin strips.
- 9. Wash the cucumber.
- 10. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise.
- 11. Slice the cucumber halves into thin rounds.
- 12. Slice the olives.
- 13. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- 14. Cut the salami into small cubes.
- 15. Put the vinegar into a small bowl.
- 16. Add the lemon juice to the vinegar.
- 17. Add the honey to the vinegar-lemon mixture.
- 18. Add the oil to the mixture.
- 19. Whisk the dressing with a spoon or whisk until well combined.
- 20. Season the dressing with salt.
- 21. Season the dressing with pepper.
- 22. Put the cooled pasta into a large bowl.
- 23. Add the pepper strips to the pasta.
- 24. Add the cucumber slices to the pasta.
- 25. Add the olive slices to the pasta.
- 26. Add the cheese cubes to the pasta.
- 27. Add the salami cubes to the pasta.
- 28. Pour the dressing over all ingredients.
- 29. Fold all ingredients gently until evenly distributed.
- 30. Serve the salad.
- 31. Sprinkle the salad with grated Parmesan before serving.
