  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Set the heating mode to top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente (firm to the bite). Rinse the pasta briefly with cold water and let it drain.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  4. 4. Mix the minced meat, chopped garlic, and oregano in a bowl.
  5. 5. Season the meat mixture with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Form small balls from the meat mixture.
  7. 7. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
  8. 8. Wash the zucchini, trim the ends, and slice it.
  9. 9. Mix the drained pasta, halved tomatoes, zucchini slices, meat broth, and fresh basil in a large bowl.
  10. 10. Season the pasta mixture again with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. 11. Transfer the pasta mixture into an ovenproof dish.
  12. 12. Distribute the meatballs evenly over the pasta mixture.
  13. 13. Slice the mozzarella and place the slices on top of the bake.
  14. 14. Bake the dish in the oven for about 25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  15. 15. Garnish the finished bake with fresh basil and serve hot.
