  2. 2. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook it al dente according to the package instructions.
  3. 3. Wash the arugula under running water.
  4. 4. Dry the arugula thoroughly, for example using a salad spinner or a kitchen towel.
  5. 5. Rinse the lemon under hot water.
  6. 6. Dry the lemon with a cloth.
  7. 7. Grate the lemon zest finely.
  8. 8. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  9. 9. Grate the Parmesan finely.
  10. 10. Peel the garlic cloves.
  11. 11. Mince the garlic very finely.
  12. 12. Heat the oil in a pan.
  13. 13. Add the minced garlic to the hot pan.
  14. 14. Sauté the garlic over medium heat until it is translucent and fragrant.
  15. 15. Drain the pasta.
  16. 16. Add the arugula and lemon zest to the pan with the garlic.
  17. 17. Mix everything well together.
  18. 18. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  19. 19. Add the lemon juice.
  20. 20. Fold the Parmesan into the warm pasta.
