  1. 1. Rinse the squid under running water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2. Cut the squid tubes open from the side and lay them flat.
  3. 3. Score the inside of the tubes in a diamond pattern, but be careful not to cut all the way through the flesh.
  4. 4. Cut the squid into strips that are 2 to 3 centimeters wide.
  5. 5. Wash the spring onions and trim off the ends.
  6. 6. Cut the spring onions lengthwise into quarters and slice them into 3 to 4 centimeter long pieces.
  7. 7. Wash the zucchini and trim off the ends.
  8. 8. Slice or shave the zucchini into thin longitudinal slices.
  9. 9. Wash the peppers and cut them lengthwise.
  10. 10. Remove the seeds from the peppers and chop them finely.
  11. 11. Peel the garlic and slice it into paper-thin pieces.
  12. 12. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente (firm to the bite).
  13. 13. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a hot pan.
  14. 14. Fry the garlic for 2 to 3 minutes until brown and crispy.
  15. 15. Make sure the pan is not too hot so that the garlic does not burn.
  16. 16. Remove the garlic from the pan and let it drain on kitchen paper.
  17. 17. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil to the pan.
  18. 18. Sauté the spring onions over low heat.
  19. 19. Add the zucchini and cook it together for 2 to 3 minutes.
  20. 20. Drizzle the zucchini with a little lemon juice.
  21. 21. Season the zucchini with salt.
  22. 22. Heat the remaining oil in another pan.
  23. 23. Add the peppers to the hot pan.
  24. 24. Add the squid strips.
  25. 25. Fry everything together for 1 to 2 minutes.
  26. 26. Season the squid mixture with salt.
  27. 27. Drizzle the mixture with lemon juice.
  28. 28. Sprinkle Ras-el-Hanout (a spicy spice blend) over it.
  29. 29. Drain the pasta.
  30. 30. Toss the pasta in the zucchini mixture.
  31. 31. Fold the squid strips into the pasta.
  32. 32. Plate the pasta.
  33. 33. Garnish the pasta with the crispy garlic.
  34. 34. Serve the dish.
