  3. 3. Cook the tagliatelle in the salted water until al dente (firm to the bite).
  4. 4. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  5. 5. Halve the washed tomatoes.
  6. 6. Peel the shallots.
  7. 7. Peel the garlic.
  8. 8. Dice the shallots finely.
  9. 9. Dice the garlic finely.
  10. 10. Heat oil in a pan.
  11. 11. Add the diced shallots and garlic to the hot oil.
  12. 12. Sauté the vegetables gently until they are soft.
  13. 13. Add the thawed fava beans to the pan.
  14. 14. Deglaze the mixture with white wine.
  15. 15. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  16. 16. Add the halved tomatoes to the pan.
  17. 17. Add thyme to the sauce.
  18. 18. Let the ingredients simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.
