🍝 Garlic Chili Pasta with Olive Oil

Ingredients
- 500 g Spaghetti
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1 bunch Basil (á approx. 40 g)
- 2 red Chili peppers
- 100 ml Olive oil
- 150 g freshly grated Parmesan
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add some salt.
- 2. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water.
- 3. Cook the pasta for 10 to 15 minutes until it is al dente (firm to the bite).
- 4. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 5. Slice the garlic into thin pieces.
- 6. Wash the basil under running water.
- 7. Shake the basil dry.
- 8. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 9. Set aside a few nice leaves for garnish.
- 10. Finely chop the remaining basil.
- 11. Wash the chili pepper.
- 12. Slice the chili pepper into thin rings.
- 13. Put the olive oil into a bowl.
- 14. Add the garlic slices to the oil.
- 15. Add the chili rings to the bowl.
- 16. Add the chopped basil to the bowl.
- 17. Season the oil mixture with black pepper.
- 18. Mix everything well together.
- 19. Drain the cooked spaghetti.
- 20. Add the hot pasta directly into the oil mixture.
- 21. Toss the pasta well with the oil.
- 22. Place the pasta on a deep plate.
- 23. Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the pasta.
- 24. Garnish the pasta with the reserved basil leaves.
- 25. Serve the pasta immediately.
