🍝 Mussels with Pasta

Ingredients
- 500 g mussels
- 500 g linguine
- salt
- 1 handful parsley
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 red chili pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 150 ml vegetable broth
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the mussels thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Discard any mussels that are already open.
- 3. Let the mussels drain well in a colander.
- 4. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.
- 5. Rinse the parsley briefly and shake it dry.
- 6. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
- 7. Chop the parsley leaves coarsely.
- 8. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 9. Finely chop the garlic.
- 10. Wash the chili pepper.
- 11. Halve the chili pepper lengthwise.
- 12. Remove the seeds and white pith from the chili.
- 13. Cut the chili into thin strips.
- 14. Heat oil in a large pan.
- 15. Sauté the garlic and chili in the hot oil for a short time.
- 16. Deglaze the pan with the broth.
- 17. Let the liquid simmer briefly.
- 18. Add the mussels to the pan.
- 19. Cover the pan.
- 20. Steam the mussels for 4 to 5 minutes.
- 21. Discard any mussels that have not opened.
- 22. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the mussels.
- 23. Season the dish with salt and pepper.
- 24. Add the drained pasta to the pan.
- 25. Gently toss the pasta with the mussels.
- 26. Serve the dish immediately.
