🍝 Creamy Pasta with Salmon and Peas

Ingredients
- 400 g Spaghetti
- 1 Onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 150 g Peas (frozen)
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 100 ml Vegetable broth
- 300 ml Heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Horseradish (from the jar)
- 1 Egg yolk
- 200 g Smoked salmon
- 3 tbsp Chervil
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 2. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
- 3. Melt the butter in a pan.
- 4. Sauté the onion and garlic mixture in the butter.
- 5. Add the peas to the pan.
- 6. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 7. Pour in the broth.
- 8. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 9. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
- 10. Drain the pasta.
- 11. Let the pasta drain well.
- 12. Cut the salmon into thick strips.
- 13. Finely chop the chervil.
- 14. Mix the peas with the cream.
- 15. Stir the horseradish into the pea and cream mixture.
- 16. Let the sauce come to a brief boil.
- 17. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 18. Stir in the egg yolk to thicken the sauce.
- 19. Fold the salmon strips into the sauce.
- 20. Stir in two-thirds of the chopped chervil.
- 21. Mix the sauce with the cooked pasta.
- 22. Garnish the dish with the remaining chervil.
