  2. 2. Add the whole wheat spaghetti to the boiling water and cook them al dente according to the package instructions.
  3. 3. Drain the pasta in a colander and let it drain well.
  4. 4. Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces.
  5. 5. Halve the leek lengthwise, wash it thoroughly, and cut it into thin strips.
  6. 6. Peel the garlic and dice it finely.
  7. 7. Heat some oil in a large pan.
  8. 8. Sauté the leek and garlic in the hot oil for about 2 minutes until translucent.
  9. 9. Deglaze the pan with the stock.
  10. 10. Stir in the cream and let the sauce simmer slightly until it becomes creamy.
  11. 11. Gently fold the drained pasta and salmon pieces into the sauce.
  12. 12. Season the pasta with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
  13. 13. Serve the finished pasta garnished with fresh chives.
