🍝 Salmon Pasta in Creamy Sauce

Ingredients
- 400 g Whole wheat spaghetti
- Salt
- 200 g Smoked salmon (in slices)
- 1 Leek stalk
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 150 ml Fish stock
- 200 ml Whipping cream
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp Chive rings (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Bring plenty of water to a boil in a large pot and add some salt.
- 2. Add the whole wheat spaghetti to the boiling water and cook them al dente according to the package instructions.
- 3. Drain the pasta in a colander and let it drain well.
- 4. Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces.
- 5. Halve the leek lengthwise, wash it thoroughly, and cut it into thin strips.
- 6. Peel the garlic and dice it finely.
- 7. Heat some oil in a large pan.
- 8. Sauté the leek and garlic in the hot oil for about 2 minutes until translucent.
- 9. Deglaze the pan with the stock.
- 10. Stir in the cream and let the sauce simmer slightly until it becomes creamy.
- 11. Gently fold the drained pasta and salmon pieces into the sauce.
- 12. Season the pasta with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 13. Serve the finished pasta garnished with fresh chives.
