  2. 2. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water.
  3. 3. Cook the pasta until al dente.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic.
  5. 5. Finely chop the garlic.
  6. 6. Finely chop the anchovies.
  7. 7. Heat oil and butter in a pan.
  8. 8. Fry the garlic until lightly golden brown.
  9. 9. Add the anchovies to the pan.
  10. 10. Add the drained pasta to the pan.
  11. 11. Toss the pasta in the sauce.
  12. 12. Add some pasta cooking water if the sauce is too dry.
  13. 13. Add the parsley.
  14. 14. Season with salt and pepper.
  15. 15. Divide the pasta onto plates.
  16. 16. Sprinkle the pasta with Parmesan.
  17. 17. Serve the pasta.
