🍝 Quick Meat Sauce Pasta with Vegetables

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 carrots
- 100 g celeriac (1 piece)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g ground beef
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 600 ml meat broth
- 1 tsp oregano
- salt
- pepper from the mill
- 400 g whole wheat spaghetti
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 2. Dice the onion and the garlic very finely.
- 3. Wash the carrots and the celery.
- 4. Peel the carrots and the celery.
- 5. Grate the carrots and the celery finely.
- 6. Cut the bell pepper in half lengthwise.
- 7. Remove the core (seeds and membranes) from the bell pepper.
- 8. Wash the deseeded bell pepper.
- 9. Cut the bell pepper into small cubes.
- 10. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan.
- 11. Add the diced onion, grated carrots, grated celery, and bell pepper cubes to the pan.
- 12. Add the minced meat to the pan.
- 13. Fry the vegetables and the meat over high heat.
- 14. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
- 15. Stir the garlic into the pan.
- 16. Stir the tomato paste into the pan.
- 17. Fry the garlic and tomato paste together for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 18. Deglaze the mixture with the broth.
- 19. Season the sauce with oregano.
- 20. Season the sauce with salt.
- 21. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 22. Let the sauce simmer uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes over medium heat.
- 23. Bring plenty of water to a boil in a pot.
- 24. Salt the cooking water.
- 25. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite).
- 26. Drain the pasta in a colander.
- 27. Let the pasta drain.
- 28. Mix the pasta with the meat sauce.
- 29. Serve the pasta immediately.
