🍝 Quick Meat and Tomato Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 400 g cherry tomatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g minced beef
- 1 splash red wine
- 400 g ribbon pasta
- salt
- 2 sprigs basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic. Chop both ingredients very finely.
- 2. Wash the cherry tomatoes. Cut them into quarters.
- 3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
- 4. Fry the minced beef over high heat for 3 to 4 minutes until it is crumbly.
- 5. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan.
- 6. Sauté the vegetables for 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.
- 7. Deglaze the mixture with red wine.
- 8. Add half of the cherry tomatoes to the sauce.
- 9. Let the sauce simmer over very low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 10. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
- 11. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
- 12. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 13. Add the remaining cherry tomatoes and oregano to the sauce.
- 14. Let the sauce simmer for another 5 minutes.
- 15. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 16. Drain the pasta.
- 17. Mix the pasta with the sauce.
- 18. Divide the pasta among four plates.
- 19. Garnish the dish with the fresh basil leaves.
- 20. Serve the pasta immediately.
