  1. 1. Peel the onion and the garlic. Chop both ingredients very finely.
  2. 2. Wash the cherry tomatoes. Cut them into quarters.
  3. 3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
  4. 4. Fry the minced beef over high heat for 3 to 4 minutes until it is crumbly.
  5. 5. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan.
  6. 6. Sauté the vegetables for 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.
  7. 7. Deglaze the mixture with red wine.
  8. 8. Add half of the cherry tomatoes to the sauce.
  9. 9. Let the sauce simmer over very low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  10. 10. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
  11. 11. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
  12. 12. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
  13. 13. Add the remaining cherry tomatoes and oregano to the sauce.
  14. 14. Let the sauce simmer for another 5 minutes.
  15. 15. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  16. 16. Drain the pasta.
  17. 17. Mix the pasta with the sauce.
  18. 18. Divide the pasta among four plates.
  19. 19. Garnish the dish with the fresh basil leaves.
  20. 20. Serve the pasta immediately.
