  1. 1. Boil plenty of water in a large pot and salt it generously.
  2. 2. Cook the pasta in it according to the package instructions until al dente.
  3. 3. Drain the pasta and rinse it immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  4. 4. Let the pasta cool down completely.
  5. 5. Peel the onions and cut them into thin strips.
  6. 6. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan.
  7. 7. Sauté the onion strips in the hot oil.
  8. 8. Sprinkle the sugar over the onions.
  9. 9. Caramelize the onions until they are golden brown and sweet.
  10. 10. Let the caramelized onions cool down.
  11. 11. Let the dried tomatoes drain well.
  12. 12. Cut the dried tomatoes into small pieces.
  13. 13. Let the capers drain well as well.
  14. 14. Cut the sheep's cheese (feta) into approx. 1 cm cubes.
  15. 15. Add the cooled pasta, the caramelized onions, the capers, the feta and the tomatoes to a large bowl.
  16. 16. Mix all ingredients gently and loosely together.
  17. 17. Put salt, honey, lemon juice, vinegar, mustard and the remaining oil in a small bowl.
  18. 18. Stir the ingredients together to form a uniform marinade.
  19. 19. Pour the marinade over the pasta salad.
  20. 20. Mix the salad so that the marinade is well distributed.
  21. 21. Garnish the finished salad with fresh parsley.
  22. 22. Serve the salad immediately.
