  1. 1. Pour the milk over the toast slices and let the bread soak briefly.
  2. 2. Add the minced meat, the egg, the parsley, and the lemon zest to the soaked bread.
  3. 3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and knead everything well together.
  4. 4. Form small balls from the meat mixture.
  5. 5. Peel the shallots and the garlic and chop them finely.
  6. 6. Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté the shallots and garlic until translucent.
  7. 7. Stir the tomato paste into the oil.
  8. 8. Add the tomatoes and let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.
  9. 9. Season the sauce with salt, sugar, and pepper to taste.
  10. 10. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
  11. 11. Fry the meatballs in hot oil for about 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
  12. 12. Drain the pasta and let it drain well.
  13. 13. Distribute the pasta onto plates.
  14. 14. Place the meatballs on top of the pasta.
  15. 15. Pour the tomato sauce over the dish.
  16. 16. Garnish the food with fresh parsley.
