  2. 2. Trim the ends of the beans and remove any stringy fibers.
  3. 3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add some salt.
  4. 4. Add the prepared beans to the boiling water.
  5. 5. Cook the beans until they are al dente (firm to the bite).
  6. 6. Drain the beans and immediately rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  7. 7. Let the beans drain well.
  8. 8. Cut the beans into pieces about 3 to 4 centimeters long.
  9. 9. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  10. 10. Cook the pasta in this water until it is al dente.
  11. 11. Peel the garlic cloves.
  12. 12. Finely chop the garlic.
  13. 13. Heat oil in a large frying pan.
  14. 14. Add the chopped garlic to the hot pan.
  15. 15. Sauté the garlic briefly until fragrant.
  16. 16. Add the peas to the pan.
  17. 17. Sauté the peas briefly.
  18. 18. Add the prepared green beans to the pan.
  19. 19. Sauté the beans briefly as well.
  20. 20. Drain the pasta, but reserve some of the cooking water.
  21. 21. Add the drained pasta directly to the pan with the vegetables.
  22. 22. Mix everything well together.
  23. 23. Add the fresh herbs as desired.
  24. 24. Grate the Parmesan over the pasta.
  25. 25. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
  26. 26. Serve the pasta immediately while warm.
