🥤 Roasted Tomato Pasta with Fresh Basil

Ingredients
- 400 g Spaghetti
- Salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 250 g pureed tomatoes
- pepper
- 500 g cherry tomatoes
- 20 g basil (1 bunch)
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add some salt.
- 2. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook until al dente.
- 3. Peel the garlic clove and the onion and chop both finely.
- 4. Heat oil in a pot and sauté the garlic and onion over medium heat until translucent.
- 5. Add the puréed tomato to the pot and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 6. Season the sauce with pepper and then purée it finely.
- 7. Wash the cherry tomatoes and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (180 degrees with fan).
- 9. Roast the tomatoes in the oven until their skins start to burst.
- 10. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
- 11. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems and slice them into thin strips.
- 12. Drain the cooked pasta.
- 13. Mix the pasta with the tomato sauce and half of the sliced basil strips.
- 14. Serve the pasta on pre-warmed plates.
- 15. Sprinkle the remaining fresh basil over the pasta.
- 16. Place the roasted tomatoes on top and serve the dish immediately.
