  2. 2. Cook the ribbon pasta in it until al dente.
  3. 3. Cut the bacon into thin strips.
  4. 4. Peel the onion and chop it finely.
  5. 5. Wash the chili and remove the stems.
  6. 6. Slice the chili into very thin rings.
  7. 7. Wash the chicory and dry it thoroughly.
  8. 8. Cut the chicory into strips.
  9. 9. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  10. 10. Sauté the onions in the oil.
  11. 11. Add the bacon and fry it along with the onions.
  12. 12. Add the chili rings to the pan.
  13. 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  14. 14. Add the chicory and let it wilt briefly.
  15. 15. Drain the pasta.
  16. 16. Let the pasta drain for a moment.
  17. 17. Toss the pasta with the bacon mixture.
  18. 18. Serve the pasta in pre-warmed plates.
  19. 19. Sprinkle the dish with Parmesan cheese.
