🍝 Pasta with crispy bacon, spicy chili, and chicory

Ingredients
- 400 g Band Noodles
- Salt
- 250 g streaky Bacon
- 1 Onion
- 1 red Chili Pepper
- 1 Chicory
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 50 g grated Parmesan
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- 2. Cook the ribbon pasta in it until al dente.
- 3. Cut the bacon into thin strips.
- 4. Peel the onion and chop it finely.
- 5. Wash the chili and remove the stems.
- 6. Slice the chili into very thin rings.
- 7. Wash the chicory and dry it thoroughly.
- 8. Cut the chicory into strips.
- 9. Heat oil in a frying pan.
- 10. Sauté the onions in the oil.
- 11. Add the bacon and fry it along with the onions.
- 12. Add the chili rings to the pan.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 14. Add the chicory and let it wilt briefly.
- 15. Drain the pasta.
- 16. Let the pasta drain for a moment.
- 17. Toss the pasta with the bacon mixture.
- 18. Serve the pasta in pre-warmed plates.
- 19. Sprinkle the dish with Parmesan cheese.
