🍝 Creamy Pasta with Brie, Bacon, and Peas

Ingredients
- 500 g Penne
- salt
- 350 g fresh peas
- 150 g breakfast bacon (sliced)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 150 g Brie
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Fill a large pot with water and add some salt.
- 2. Cook the pasta in the salted water until al dente (firm to the bite) according to the package instructions.
- 3. Drain the pasta, but reserve a little bit of the cooking water.
- 4. Rinse the peas under cold water and let them drain well.
- 5. Bring a small pot of salted water to a boil.
- 6. Add the peas to the boiling water and cook them for 3 to 4 minutes.
- 7. Drain the peas and rinse them briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 8. Cut the bacon into small, even cubes.
- 9. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 10. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- 11. Fry the bacon in the pan until crispy and golden brown.
- 12. Add the chopped garlic and the peas to the pan.
- 13. Sauté the vegetables for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- 14. Cut the Brie cheese into small cubes or pieces.
- 15. Add the Brie pieces to the pan and stir them into the bacon and pea mixture.
- 16. Add the drained pasta to the pan.
- 17. Toss everything briefly until the Brie melts slightly and forms a creamy sauce.
- 18. Fill the pasta into pre-warmed bowls.
- 19. Grind fresh pepper over the dish and serve immediately.
