🍝 Creamy Spaghetti with Blue Cheese and Walnuts

Ingredients
- 400 g Spaghetti
- Salt
- 1 white onion
- 150 g bacon cubes
- walnut oil
- 80 g chopped walnut kernels
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 100 g Gorgonzola
Instructions
- 1. Boil plenty of salted water and cook the spaghetti in it until al dente (firm to the bite).
- 2. Drain the pasta, but keep a small cup of the pasta cooking water ready.
- 3. Peel the onion and chop it into fine dice.
- 4. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a large pan.
- 5. Add the bacon and the chopped onion to the pan and sauté them until soft.
- 6. Stir in the walnut kernels and fry them briefly.
- 7. Add the drained pasta to the pan and mix everything well.
- 8. Fry the pasta briefly together with the bacon and nuts.
- 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 10. Stir one to two tablespoons of nut oil into the pasta.
- 11. Add the parsley to the pasta.
- 12. Crumble the Gorgonzola cheese over the warm pasta.
- 13. Stir everything briefly until the cheese melts slightly.
- 14. If the pasta looks too dry, stir in two to three tablespoons of the previously prepared pasta water.
- 15. Distribute the pasta onto plates or bowls.
- 16. Serve the dish immediately while hot.
