  1. 1. Cut off the tough outer leaves and stems from the artichokes.
  2. 2. Halve the artichokes and place them in a bowl of water with some lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
  3. 3. Then dry the artichokes thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic cloves.
  5. 5. Heat four tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan.
  6. 6. Fry the artichokes and garlic in it.
  7. 7. Add the lemon juice, 50 grams of water, and half of the chopped parsley.
  8. 8. Let everything simmer covered for about 20 minutes on low heat.
  9. 9. Season the artichokes with salt and pepper to taste once they are soft.
  10. 10. Melt the butter in a separate pan.
  11. 11. Cook the pasta in salted water al dente (firm to the bite).
  12. 12. Mix the melted butter with the artichokes and the remaining parsley.
  13. 13. Add the pasta and mix everything well.
  14. 14. Serve the dish immediately with plenty of grated Parmesan.
