🍽️ Crispy Parmesan Cups with Cream Cheese and Ham Rolls

Ingredients
- 200 g cream cheese (plain)
- 2 tbsp whipping cream
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped herbs (to choice)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- lemon juice
- 16 slices Parma ham
- 200 g freshly grated Parmesan
Instructions
- 1. Mix the cream cheese with the cream and herbs in a bowl.
- 2. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice.
- 3. Fill the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag with a small tip.
- 4. Pipe strips of the cream cheese mixture onto the ham slices.
- 5. Roll the ham slices tightly into small rolls.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan mode.
- 7. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 8. Place a round cookie cutter (approx. 10 cm diameter) on the tray.
- 9. Spread a thin, even layer of grated Parmesan cheese inside the cutter.
- 10. Carefully remove the cutter.
- 11. Repeat the process until you have distributed all cheese portions on the tray.
- 12. Place the tray in the hot oven for approx. 5 minutes.
- 13. Wait until the cheese has melted, is bubbling vigorously, and is lightly golden brown.
- 14. Remove the tray from the oven immediately.
- 15. Let the Parmesan circles cool briefly until they are firm but still pliable.
- 16. Carefully loosen the warm Parmesan circles from the baking paper.
- 17. Wrap the ham and cream cheese rolls in the Parmesan circles.
- 18. Place the wrapped rolls on a wire cooling rack.
- 19. Let them cool completely until the Parmesan coating is crispy.
- 20. Serve the rolls as a tasty snack.
