  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Wash the peppers and cut them into quarters. Remove the seeds.
  3. 3. Place the pepper pieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Make sure the skin side is facing up.
  4. 4. Grill the peppers in the oven for 4 to 8 minutes until the skin turns black.
  5. 5. Take the peppers out of the oven and place them under a cold, damp kitchen towel for about 2 minutes.
  6. 6. Peel the blackened skin off the peppers using a small knife.
  7. 7. Cut the peeled peppers into pieces about 2 centimeters in size.
  8. 8. Peel the garlic and cut it into fine cubes.
  9. 9. Peel the onion and cut it into wedges.
  10. 10. Wash the tomatoes and remove the green stem area.
  11. 11. Cut the tomatoes into pieces about 1.5 centimeters in size.
  12. 12. Heat the oil in a pot.
  13. 13. Sauté the garlic and onion wedges in the hot oil for about 2 minutes.
  14. 14. Add the remaining ingredients (peppers and tomatoes).
  15. 15. Sauté everything together for another 2 to 4 minutes.
  16. 16. Take the vegetables out of the pot and arrange them in a bowl.
  17. 17. Serve the dish with bread.
