  3. 3. Dice the flesh of the bell pepper into small cubes.
  4. 4. Slice the Cabanossi sausage into thin rounds.
  5. 5. Heat some oil in a frying pan.
  6. 6. Add the diced bell pepper and sausage slices to the hot pan.
  7. 7. Sauté the vegetables and sausage for 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Season the mixture with thyme.
  9. 9. Wash the fresh basil.
  10. 10. Cut the basil into thin strips.
  11. 11. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.
  12. 12. Fold the basil strips into the whisked eggs.
  13. 13. Pour the egg and basil mixture over the vegetables in the pan.
  14. 14. Let the omelette set over low heat for 8 minutes.
  15. 15. Season the finished omelette with salt and pepper.
