🍽️ Omelette with Bell Peppers and Cabanossi Sausage

Ingredients
- 2 red bell peppers
- 100 g Cabanossi
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp thyme
- 0.5 bunch basil
- 4 eggs
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Halve the bell pepper and remove the core.
- 2. Rinse the bell pepper thoroughly.
- 3. Dice the flesh of the bell pepper into small cubes.
- 4. Slice the Cabanossi sausage into thin rounds.
- 5. Heat some oil in a frying pan.
- 6. Add the diced bell pepper and sausage slices to the hot pan.
- 7. Sauté the vegetables and sausage for 5 minutes.
- 8. Season the mixture with thyme.
- 9. Wash the fresh basil.
- 10. Cut the basil into thin strips.
- 11. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.
- 12. Fold the basil strips into the whisked eggs.
- 13. Pour the egg and basil mixture over the vegetables in the pan.
- 14. Let the omelette set over low heat for 8 minutes.
- 15. Season the finished omelette with salt and pepper.
