🍽️ Pepper Cabbage Vegetable

Ingredients
- 200 g Savoy cabbage (1 Savoy cabbage)
- 30 g small onions (1 small onion)
- 100 g red bell peppers (0.5 red bell peppers)
- 100 ml classic vegetable broth
- 3 sprigs lemon thyme
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the savoy cabbage thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Remove the tough stems and slice the leaves into thin strips.
- 3. Peel the onion and cut it in half.
- 4. Slice the onion halves into thin strips as well.
- 5. Wash the half of the bell pepper and remove the inside with the seeds.
- 6. Cut the bell pepper into strips.
- 7. Place the onion strips and the vegetable broth in a small pot.
- 8. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 9. Cover the pot and let the vegetables cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- 10. Rinse the thyme sprigs under cold water.
- 11. Shake the sprigs dry to remove excess water.
- 12. Strip the leaves off two of the thyme sprigs.
- 13. Add the savoy cabbage and bell pepper strips to the broth in the pot.
- 14. Cover the pot again.
- 15. Let the vegetables cook for another 8 to 10 minutes over low heat.
- 16. Season the vegetables to taste with salt and pepper.
- 17. Remove the pot from the heat and plate the vegetables.
- 18. Garnish the dish with the remaining thyme leaves.
