🍽️ Fresh Pepper and Tomato Salad

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- pepper pods (One each of red, yellow & green)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250 g tomatoes
- 1 piece cucumber
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 5 olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and cut it into very small cubes.
- 2. Cut the pepper in half lengthwise.
- 3. Remove the seeds from the pepper.
- 4. Rinse the pepper halves under running water.
- 5. Cut the pepper into thin strips.
- 6. Peel the garlic.
- 7. Finely chop the garlic.
- 8. Pour hot water over the tomatoes.
- 9. Peel the skin off the tomatoes (this is called blanching).
- 10. Halve the peeled tomatoes.
- 11. Remove the seeds from the tomato halves.
- 12. Dice the tomatoes finely.
- 13. Peel the cucumber.
- 14. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise.
- 15. Remove the soft core of the cucumber.
- 16. Cut the cucumber into small pieces.
- 17. Whisk vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- 18. Pour the dressing over the rest of the salad.
- 19. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 20. Fill the salad into small bowls.
- 21. Serve the salad.
