  1. 1. Place the rice in a pot with twice as much salted water as rice.
  2. 2. Let the rice cook for about 20 minutes over medium heat with the lid on.
  3. 3. Drain the cooking water if any remains in the pot.
  4. 4. Wash the peppers under running water.
  5. 5. Halve the peppers and remove the seeds.
  6. 6. Cut the peppers into bite-sized pieces.
  7. 7. Wash the zucchini under running water.
  8. 8. Trim the ends of the zucchini.
  9. 9. Halve the zucchini lengthwise.
  10. 10. Scoop out the seeds of the zucchini with a small spoon.
  11. 11. Cut the zucchini into thin strips.
  12. 12. Peel the onion.
  13. 13. Dice the onion finely.
  14. 14. Heat oil in a large pan.
  15. 15. Sweat the onion cubes in the hot oil until translucent.
  16. 16. Stir the tomato paste into the onions briefly.
  17. 17. Add the pepper pieces and zucchini strips to the pan.
  18. 18. Add the tomatoes.
  19. 19. Let the vegetables cook for about 5 minutes.
  20. 20. Slice the sausage.
  21. 21. Fold the sausage slices in with the rice and vegetables.
  22. 22. Season the dish with salt and black pepper.
  23. 23. Season additionally with both types of pepper (ground and ground).
