🍕 Pepperoni Pizza

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 20 g yeast
- 0.125 l water
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 250 g pizza tomatoes (chunky from the can)
- 1 garlic clove (pressed)
- 1 tbsp oregano (dried)
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- pepper (from the mill)
- bell peppers (1/2 green and red each)
- 1 onion
- 16 olives
- 80 g chorizo
- 200 g Gouda (medium-aged)
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Press a small indentation into the center of the flour.
- 3. Crumble the yeast into some water.
- 4. Pour the yeast-water mixture into the indentation.
- 5. Lightly dust the surface with flour.
- 6. Cover the bowl with a cloth.
- 7. Let the dough rise for 15 minutes.
- 8. Add the remaining water, salt, and oil.
- 9. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 10. Cover the dough again with the cloth.
- 11. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 12. Heat the olive oil in a pan.
- 13. Sauté the pizza tomatoes briefly in the oil.
- 14. Add garlic, oregano, salt, sugar, and pepper.
- 15. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
- 16. Grease a baking tray.
- 17. Roll out the dough into two round pizzas.
- 18. Top the pizzas with the sauce, peppers, and sausage.
- 19. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
- 20. Bake the pizzas for about 20 minutes.
