  1. 1. Wash the carrots thoroughly.
  2. 2. Peel the carrots, but keep the green tops attached.
  3. 3. Cut the carrots in half horizontally.
  4. 4. Set aside a few carrot pieces for decoration.
  5. 5. Cut the bell peppers into quarters.
  6. 6. Remove the seeds from the pepper pieces.
  7. 7. Rinse the deseeded pepper pieces.
  8. 8. Peel the pepper pieces with a vegetable peeler.
  9. 9. Cut the peeled pepper pieces into small cubes.
  10. 10. Pour the carrot juice into a blender.
  11. 11. Add the buttermilk to the blender.
  12. 12. Add the pepper cubes to the blender.
  13. 13. Puree the mixture in the blender until smooth.
  14. 14. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt.
  15. 15. Add black pepper to taste.
  16. 16. Add paprika powder to taste.
  17. 17. Pour the finished smoothie into glasses.
  18. 18. Garnish the smoothie with the reserved carrot pieces.
  19. 19. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
