  1. 1. Cut off the top part of the bell peppers, remove the inside with the seeds, and wash the peppers thoroughly.
  2. 2. Sauté the diced onion in hot butter, add the pressed garlic, add the minced meat, and fry until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper and let the mixture cool down.
  3. 3. Mix the cooled meat mixture with an egg and the rice. Then fill this mixture into the prepared bell peppers.
  4. 4. Wash the tomatoes, chop them roughly, and bring them to a boil with one-eighth of a liter of water. Season with salt and pepper and let the sauce simmer gently for about 30 minutes. Then pass the sauce through a sieve.
  5. 5. Foam the butter in a pot, stir in the flour, and let it cook briefly. Then add the tomatoes that have been passed through a sieve and stir everything into a smooth sauce. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the sauce.
  6. 6. Place the stuffed bell peppers in a baking dish, pour the tomato sauce over them, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes.
