🍽️ Papaya, Bean and Shrimp Salad

Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 papaya
- 12 shrimp (peeled, deveined)
- 100 g peanuts (unsalted)
- 400 g snake bean
- 250 g bean sprouts
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- light soy sauce
- cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the bell pepper thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the bell pepper into quarters and remove the core.
- 3. Slice the bell pepper into thin strips.
- 4. Peel the papaya and remove the seeds.
- 5. Grate the papaya finely.
- 6. Chop the shrimp coarsely.
- 7. Chop the peanuts coarsely.
- 8. Wash the beans.
- 9. Trim the ends and any strings from the beans.
- 10. Bring water with salt to a boil.
- 11. Cook the beans in it for approx. 8 minutes until al dente.
- 12. Explanation: Blanching means cooking food briefly in boiling water.
- 13. Heat oil in a pan.
- 14. Sauté the shrimp in the hot oil.
- 15. Add the bell pepper strips and the sprouts to the pan.
- 16. Sauté the vegetables with the shrimp briefly.
- 17. Add the cooked beans to the pan.
- 18. Mix the grated papaya into the mixture.
- 19. Mix the chopped peanuts into the mixture.
- 20. Season the dish with soy sauce.
- 21. Season the dish with cayenne pepper.
- 22. Warm the serving bowls beforehand.
- 23. Fill the salad into the pre-warmed bowls.
- 24. Serve the salad immediately.
