🍽️ Fruity and Fresh Papaya Mozzarella Platter

Ingredients
- 125 g Mozzarella (9 % fat)
- 400 g ripe papaya (1 ripe papaya)
- 1 large red mild chili pepper
- 2 sprigs basil (or mint)
- 2 tsp rapeseed oil
- 0.5 tsp chili oil
- salt
- coarsely ground pepper
- 4 slices whole grain baguette
Instructions
- 1. Take the mozzarella out of the package and let it drain well.
- 2. Cut the cheese in half.
- 3. Slice the mozzarella halves into thin slices.
- 4. Peel the papaya.
- 5. Cut the papaya lengthwise into two halves.
- 6. Carefully remove the dark seeds with a spoon.
- 7. Cut the papaya halves crosswise into thin slices.
- 8. Rinse the chili pepper under running water.
- 9. Cut the chili lengthwise into two halves.
- 10. Remove the white membranes and seeds from the chili.
- 11. Dry the chili with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Cut the chili into very fine strips.
- 13. Wash the basil or mint leaves.
- 14. Shake the leaves dry.
- 15. Carefully pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 16. Arrange the papaya slices on shallow plates.
- 17. Distribute the mozzarella slices over the papaya.
- 18. Garnish the dish with the herb leaves.
- 19. Sprinkle the fine chili strips over it.
- 20. Put rapeseed oil into a small bowl.
- 21. Add some chili oil.
- 22. Add a pinch of salt.
- 23. Stir the oil mixture well.
- 24. Drizzle the oil mixture over the carpaccio.
- 25. Sprinkle some fresh pepper over it.
- 26. Serve the dish immediately.
- 27. Serve fresh bread on the side.
