🍽️ Golden Breaded Cheese with Cranberries

Ingredients
- 125 g redcurrant jelly
- 1 tbsp honey
- 200 g cranberries
- 600 g Oscypek (smoked Polish sheep cheese, alternatively goat cheese roll)
- 2 eggs
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp oil
Instructions
- 1. Put the currant jelly and honey into a saucepan.
- 2. Add the cranberries.
- 3. Simmer the mixture over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 4. Let the sauce cool down completely.
- 5. Whisk the eggs in a shallow bowl.
- 6. Mix the breadcrumbs with the ground almonds in a second shallow bowl.
- 7. Dip each cheese slice first into the beaten eggs.
- 8. Then coat the cheese slices in the breadcrumb mixture.
- 9. Fry the breaded cheese slices in oil until golden brown on both sides.
- 10. Remove the finished cheese slices from the pan.
- 11. Arrange the cheese on plates.
- 12. Serve the cheese with the cooled cranberry sauce.
