🍽️ Crispy Breaded Cauliflower Slices

Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower (1000 g)
- salt
- 2 tbsp spelt whole wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 50 g whole wheat breadcrumbs
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly and remove the outer leaves. Boil the florets in salted water until they are just tender but still have a bite. Let them drain and cool down. Once cold, slice the cauliflower into thick rounds.
- 2. Mix the flour with a pinch of salt and pepper. Dredge each slice first in the seasoned flour, then dip it into the beaten egg, and finally roll it in the breadcrumbs. Fry the breaded slices in hot oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
