🍽️ Crispy Breaded Seafood

Ingredients
- 1 kg mixed seafood ready for cooking (e.g. squid rings, fish fillet, giant prawns)
- salt
- pepper
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 60 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the squid, fish, and shrimp under cold water.
- 2. Pat the seafood completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Season everything with salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice.
- 4. Coat the seasoned pieces in flour.
- 5. Shake off any excess flour.
- 6. Dip the coated pieces one by one into the beaten eggs.
- 7. Then roll the egg-coated pieces in the breadcrumbs.
- 8. Heat oil in a pot or deep fryer to approx. 170 degrees Celsius.
- 9. Fry the seafood in batches until golden brown.
- 10. The frying time is 3 to 4 minutes.
- 11. Fry fish pieces slightly longer if they are particularly thick.
- 12. Let the finished seafood drain on kitchen paper.
- 13. Keep them warm in the oven at 80 degrees Celsius.
- 14. Repeat the frying process until all seafood is prepared.
