🍽️ Crispy Breaded Cheese Balls

Ingredients
- 500 g Cream cheese
- 200 g Quark
- 2 Egg yolks
- 50 g grated Parmesan
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 100 g Breadcrumbs (or Breadcrumbs)
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Flour (for dredging)
- 2 Eggs
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Drain the quark well in a sieve to remove excess liquid.
- 3. Thoroughly mix the cream cheese, drained quark, egg yolks, parmesan, and parsley in a bowl.
- 4. If the mixture is too soft, add a few breadcrumbs until it is firm enough to shape.
- 5. Season the mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 6. Shape the mixture into about 16 equal-sized balls.
- 7. Place the balls on a plate and refrigerate them for 30 minutes.
- 8. Take the balls out of the fridge and coat them in flour.
- 9. Dip the floured balls through the beaten eggs.
- 10. Then roll the balls in the remaining breadcrumbs until they are fully covered.
- 11. Heat oil in a pan or pot for deep frying.
- 12. Fry the cheese balls in the hot oil briefly until the coating is golden brown.
- 13. Remove the balls from the oil and let them drain on kitchen paper.
- 14. Serve the crispy cheese balls immediately.
