Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 100 g flour
- 1 large egg
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- fat (for the deep fryer)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- ketchup
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken meat under cold water.
- 2. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the chicken into bite-sized strips.
- 4. Season the meat strips with salt and pepper.
- 5. Coat the pieces in flour first.
- 6. Dip the floured strips into beaten eggs.
- 7. Finally roll the egg-coated strips in breadcrumbs.
- 8. Press the coating firmly onto the meat.
- 9. Fry the strips in batches in hot fat.
- 10. Fry them until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 11. Place the finished strips on kitchen paper.
- 12. Drain the excess fat.
- 13. Serve the chicken strips with ketchup.
