🍽️ Crispy Chicken Schnitzels with Lime and Chili

Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillets (4 chicken breast fillets)
- 2 eggs
- flour
- breadcrumbs
- ghee for frying (Buttaris)
- 4 limes
- 3 chili peppers
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into smaller cutlets using a sharp knife.
- 2. Whisk the eggs in a bowl and season them with salt and pepper.
- 3. Coat the chicken cutlets in flour first.
- 4. Dip the floured cutlets into the egg mixture next.
- 5. Finally, cover the cutlets in breadcrumbs and press the coating firmly onto the meat.
- 6. Heat plenty of ghee (clarified butter) in a deep pan or deep fryer to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 7. Fry the cutlets in the hot fat until golden brown on both sides.
- 8. Let the finished cutlets drain on kitchen paper.
- 9. Slice the limes into thin rounds.
- 10. Slice the chili peppers into thin rings.
- 11. Plate the cutlets with the lime slices and chili rings.
- 12. Drizzle the cutlets with a little lime juice.
- 13. Serve the cutlets immediately.
