🍽️ Crispy Breaded Fish Strips

Ingredients
- 600 g fish fillet (e.g. cod, pollock)
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 eggs
- 3 flour
- 100 g white bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish fillets under cold water.
- 2. Pat the fillets completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the fillets into strips about as thick as your finger.
- 4. Season the fish strips with salt and pepper.
- 5. Drizzle the fish with some lemon juice.
- 6. Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl.
- 7. Place the flour on a plate.
- 8. Place the breadcrumbs on a second plate.
- 9. Mix the breadcrumbs with the herbs.
- 10. Coat the fish strips in the flour.
- 11. Dip the floured strips into the beaten eggs.
- 12. Roll the fish pieces in the herb breadcrumb mixture.
- 13. Press the breading firmly so it sticks well.
- 14. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan.
- 15. Fry the fish strips on all sides for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
- 16. Let the finished fillets drain on kitchen paper.
- 17. Serve the fish strips with potatoes if desired.
