Ingredients
- 600 g Baby Pak Choi (10 g each Baby Pak Choi)
- 1 red chili pepper
- 0.5 lemon
- 2 tbsp Thai fish sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
- 1. Remove the outer leaves of the Pak Choi.
- 2. Trim the bottom stem ends slightly.
- 3. Wash the vegetable thoroughly.
- 4. Shake it dry.
- 5. Halve the chili pepper lengthwise.
- 6. Remove the seeds from the pod.
- 7. Wash the chili pod.
- 8. Finely chop the chili.
- 9. Squeeze one tablespoon of juice from the lemon.
- 10. Whisk the fish sauce in a small bowl.
- 11. Add the soy sauce.
- 12. Add the maple syrup.
- 13. Add the lemon juice.
- 14. Add two tablespoons of water.
- 15. Heat the oil in a pan or wok.
- 16. Fry the Pak Choi over high heat.
- 17. Stir constantly.
- 18. Fry the vegetable for two minutes.
- 19. Add the chopped chili.
- 20. Fry the chili very briefly.
- 21. Deglaze the vegetable with the prepared sauce.
- 22. Reduce the heat.
- 23. Cover the pan.
- 24. Cook the vegetable for one more minute.
- 25. Serve the Pak Choi pan immediately.
