Ingredients
- 3 blood oranges
- 200 g fine oats
- 200 ml milk (3.5 % fat)
- 400 g yogurt (3.5 % fat)
- 3 tbsp liquid honey
Instructions
- 1. Take two blood oranges and remove the peel completely. Make sure no white pith remains on the fruit.
- 2. Carefully cut out the fruit segments between the thin membranes.
- 3. Cut the fillets into smaller pieces if you find them too large.
- 4. Put the oats, milk, yogurt, and honey into a bowl.
- 5. Stir the ingredients vigorously until they are well combined.
- 6. Fold in the prepared orange pieces into the oat mixture.
- 7. Fill the mixture into small screw-top jars. Each jar should hold about 250 milliliters.
- 8. Seal the jars tightly.
- 9. Place the jars in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
- 10. It is best to let the oats swell overnight.
- 11. Take the remaining orange and peel it completely as well.
- 12. Also here, carefully release the fruit flesh from the membranes.
- 13. Add the fresh orange pieces as a topping to the soaked oats.
- 14. Serve the breakfast now directly.
