🍽️ Oriental rice pan with caramelized onions

Ingredients
- 200 g rice
- 1 onion
- 40 g butter
- 0.4 l meat broth
- salt
- 1 large onion
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Rinse the rice under running water and let it drain well.
- 3. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes.
- 4. Melt the butter in a pan and sweat the onion cubes until translucent.
- 5. Add the drained rice to the onion and stir everything well until the rice shines translucently.
- 6. Deglaze the mixture with the hot meat broth.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt to your taste.
- 8. Cover the pan and place it in the oven.
- 9. Let the rice cook covered for about 20 minutes.
- 10. For the garnish, peel another onion and slice it into rings.
- 11. Fry the onion rings in clarified butter until golden yellow.
- 12. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the onions and let them caramelize slightly.
- 13. Distribute the caramelized onion rings over the finished rice.
- 14. Serve the pan directly.
