Ingredients
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg (size S)
- salt
- pepper from the mill
- 2 tbsp oil
- 150 g cucumber
- 1 small green bell pepper
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 4 sprigs mint
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp oil
- salt
- pepper from the mill
Instructions
- 1. Place the minced meat into a large bowl.
- 2. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 3. Chop the onion and garlic very finely.
- 4. Add the curry powder, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper to the meat.
- 5. Mix everything well until a smooth mixture forms.
- 6. Moisten your hands with a little water.
- 7. Shape apricot-sized meatballs from the mixture.
- 8. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan.
- 9. Fry the meatballs all around.
- 10. Remove the meatballs from the pan and let them cool down briefly.
- 11. Lightly oil wooden skewers.
- 12. Thread the cooled meatballs onto the skewers.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (Gas: Level 2-3, Fan: 160 degrees).
- 14. Bake the skewers in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 15. Rinse the cucumber.
- 16. Halve the cucumber and remove the seeds.
- 17. Quarter the bell pepper and remove the seeds.
- 18. Rinse the bell pepper quarters.
- 19. Wash the tomatoes.
- 20. Quarter the tomatoes and remove the seeds.
- 21. Peel the onion.
- 22. Dice the cucumber, bell pepper, tomatoes, and onion very finely.
- 23. Rinse the mint.
- 24. Pick the mint leaves off the stems.
- 25. Mix vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- 26. Add the diced vegetable and mint ingredients to the dressing mixture.
- 27. Mix the salad well.
- 28. Serve the salad together with the meat skewers.
