🍽️ Fresh Orange Sorbet

Ingredients
- 5 Oranges
- 50 ml Liquid sugar
- 0.5 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 1 Unpeeled orange
- 2 Egg whites
- 10 Brazil nut kernels
- 1 Sprig fresh mint
- 1 tbsp chopped Pistachio kernels
Instructions
- 1. Squeeze the five oranges to extract the juice.
- 2. Add the orange juice, liquid sugar (sugar dissolved and boiled in water), and cinnamon to a bowl.
- 3. Stir the ingredients well until the sugar has dissolved.
- 4. Place the metal bowl with the mixture in the freezer for one and a half hours.
- 5. Whip the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
- 6. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the partially frozen orange sugar mixture.
- 7. Place the bowl in the ice cream maker for two and a half to three hours.
- 8. Mix the mixture well every thirty minutes to achieve a creamy consistency.
- 9. Wash the unpeeled orange under hot water and dry it off.
- 10. Slice the orange and then halve the slices.
- 11. Roughly chop the Brazil nuts.
- 12. Wash the mint and pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 13. Scoop the finished sorbet onto pre-chilled plates using a large ice cream scoop.
- 14. Garnish the sorbet with the orange pieces, Brazil nuts, and mint leaves.
- 15. Serve the dessert immediately.
