  7. 7. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  8. 8. Wash the salad pieces thoroughly.
  9. 9. Dry the salad using a salad spinner.
  10. 10. Add vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, and oil to a large bowl.
  11. 11. Whisk the ingredients vigorously until the sugar has dissolved.
