🍽️ Rhubarb-Orange Jam

Ingredients
- 750 g rhubarb
- 750 g oranges (fileted 750 g)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (ground)
- 500 g diet pectin sugar (3:1)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the rhubarb thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the leaves and the tough outer skin.
- 3. Cut the rhubarb into small cubes.
- 4. Peel the oranges with a sharp knife.
- 5. Remove the white bitter pith as well.
- 6. Separate the fruit segments from the membranes.
- 7. Catch the released orange juice in a bowl.
- 8. Squeeze the juice from the remaining orange peels.
- 9. Cut the orange segments into thirds.
- 10. Mix the rhubarb pieces and oranges with the jam sugar.
- 11. Place the mixture in a large pot.
- 12. Heat the mixture over medium heat while stirring.
- 13. Let the jam boil vigorously for about 4 minutes.
- 14. Perform a setting test to check the consistency.
- 15. Add citric acid if necessary.
- 16. Fill the hot jam into prepared jars up to the rim.
- 17. Seal the jars tightly.
- 18. Turn the jars upside down for 10 minutes.
- 19. Then let the jam cool down completely.
