Ingredients
- 1 kg orange pulp (incl. juice)
- 1 kg jam sugar
- 40 ml orange liqueur
- 2 lemons (juice)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the oranges thoroughly using a sharp knife.
- 2. Remove the white pith and dice the orange flesh into fine cubes.
- 3. Remove all seeds from the fruit flesh.
- 4. Catch the orange juice that escapes during cutting and dicing.
- 5. Mix the fruit flesh, seeds, and collected juice with the pectin sugar.
- 6. Let the mixture sit covered overnight.
- 7. Stir the lemon juice and orange liqueur into the orange mixture.
- 8. Place the entire mixture into a cooking pot.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
- 10. Let the marmalade boil vigorously for about 4 minutes.
- 11. Fill the hot marmalade into clean jars.
- 12. Seal the jars tightly.
- 13. Let the marmalade cool down completely in the jars.
