🍽️ Homemade Orange Jam

Ingredients
- 2 kg Oranges (organic/unwaxed)
- 2 Lemons
- 80 ml Orange liqueur
- 1 kg Jam sugar
Instructions
- 1. Wash the oranges thoroughly under hot water.
- 2. Remove the peel from six oranges using a zester or a sharp knife.
- 3. Squeeze the juice from all the oranges and lemons.
- 4. Add some water to the juice until you have exactly one liter of liquid.
- 5. Add the liqueur and the sugar to the liquid.
- 6. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 7. Add the orange peels to the boiling liquid.
- 8. Let the jam boil vigorously for about four minutes.
- 9. Perform a gel test to check if the jam sets properly.
- 10. Fill the hot jam into prepared, clean jars.
- 11. Turn the jars upside down for a few minutes immediately.
- 12. Place the jars upright again and let them cool down completely.
