  1. 1. Wash the oranges thoroughly under hot water.
  2. 2. Remove the peel from six oranges using a zester or a sharp knife.
  3. 3. Squeeze the juice from all the oranges and lemons.
  4. 4. Add some water to the juice until you have exactly one liter of liquid.
  5. 5. Add the liqueur and the sugar to the liquid.
  6. 6. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  7. 7. Add the orange peels to the boiling liquid.
  8. 8. Let the jam boil vigorously for about four minutes.
  9. 9. Perform a gel test to check if the jam sets properly.
  10. 10. Fill the hot jam into prepared, clean jars.
  11. 11. Turn the jars upside down for a few minutes immediately.
  12. 12. Place the jars upright again and let them cool down completely.
